Patna: The state reported a decrease in Covid-19 cases, with 247 people who tested positive on Thursday.
Of these, Patna (58) has the highest number of cases, followed by Purnia (25), Supaul (12), West Champaran (12), Begusarai (12), and Muzaffarpur (10).
Other districts reported less than 10 cases, while Banka, Kaimur, Khagaria, Kishanganj, LakhiCarai, and Sheikhpura reported no new cases.
According to sources, Bihar reported 235 Covid cases on Monday, 273 on Tuesday, and 281 on Wednesday.
Thursday data is relieved, because the number of cases decreases.
One death was also officially registered as a result of Covid-19 on Thursday, bringing a total toll to 12,245 in Bihar.
The All India Medical Institute confirmed two deaths, one of which was a 60-year-old Mithapur resident received on December 31 and died on Thursday morning.
While three patients were recognized, one was dismissed.
On Thursday, hospitals have 43 patients.
In the last 24 hours, 402 people recovered, carrying the total number of active cases in the state to 1,659.
The majority of these active cases are concentrated in Patna Regency, where 610 people have not recovered.
Meanwhile, on Thursday night, more than 11.55 doses of Covid-19 crore vaccine had been given, including more than 6.53 first dose crore, 4.95 second dose crore, and a prevention dose of 6.26 lakh.
