Patna: The country recorded a decrease in the number of cases of Covid daily on Sunday with 295 people who tested the positive virus.
At 44, Patna also recorded a relatively fewer case in the last 24 hours.
There is no fresh death recorded on Sunday.
The country covid title has now reached 8.27.312.
However, 8,12,625 people so far beat viruses in the state, including 761 in the last 24 hours.
The number of active cases in the state fell to 2,450 on Sunday.
295 new cases registered with 1,15,010 samples were tested, taking the country’s position to 0.26%.
While a maximum of 44 cases recorded in Patna, Madhepura was in second place with 32 new cases, followed by Saharsa (21), GoPLAJANJ (20), West Chamaran (16), SamastiPur (12), JAMUI (12), JAMUI (12) 10) and Bhagalpur (10).
Other districts report cases in one digit.
There are no new cases recorded in Khagaria, Kishanganj and Sheohar District.
By falling in new cases and increased recovery, active cases throughout the country have declined, with Khagaria having at least seven active cases, followed by Jehanabad and Sheohar respectively.
Of the 2450 active cases at Bihar, 2,301 patients were in isolation of houses and continued to undergo treatment at various health facilities, including 66 in private hospitals.
