Patna: Covid curve in Bihar slightly jumped on Tuesday with 4,551 people testing positive viruses in the last 24 hours against 3,526 cases recorded on Monday.
“If we compare 4,551 positive cases with the numbers of January 16 (5,410) and January 15 (6,325), we can say that Covid has shown a downward trend in the state,” said Pratyaya Amrit Secretary (Health).
Asked about a much lower number of cases reported on Monday, said Pratyaya, “fewer samples were tested on Sundays.
Therefore, Monday figures remain relatively fewer than other days.
If we see trends, cases It was relatively less on January 10 and January 17 compared to the previous day because less tests on Sundays.
“Pratyaya added that though the” downward trend “was seen, there was no room for satisfaction as far as Covid.
“We see a downhill trend due to strict monitoring of safety protocols.
