PATNA: Just One Ranjeet Rai (50) along with his older son Vikash Rai (27) were detained late Saturday night for allegedly kidnapping and murdering their 18-year-old neighbor Mohammad Jasleem.
They float from village Panapur Gaurahi under Sadar police station region of Hajipur at Vaishali ditrict.
Sadar SDPO Raghav Dayal on Sunday reported both sides had a dare as Jasleem’s mum used to help keep goats and other creatures on Ranjeet’s property.
But preliminary evaluation indicates that the youth could have been killed because of his alleged love affair with all Ranjeet’s daughter.
“Jasleem’s decomposed body has been discovered in the canal situated one kilometre from the village on June 11.
He’d gone missing June 9 nighttime.
But, relatives hadn’t reported the matter to authorities before the body had been recovered,” he explained.
Dayal stated Jasleem was also a painter by profession.
He explained Jasleem’s dad Mohammad Islam had lodged an FIR from Ranjeet’s younger son Akash Rai and yet another Bhola Paswan and Ranjeet and Vikash for murdering his son later phoning him in their home.
“Bhola and Akash are evading arrest.
Jasleem’s phone hasn’t yet been recovered yet,” he explained.
Dayal said three times prior to Jasleem went lost, his dad had filed a request before the CJM courtroom in Hajipur they feared for their lifetime from Ranjeet along with his loved ones.
“Another point in this situation is that the request was filed in the behest of a single Prabhat Rai of this village, who’d competition with Ranjeet,” Dayal said.
Authorities will also look into the murder situation in this angle.
Dayal reported that authorities are anticipating the postmortem record of Jasleem to understand how he had been murdered.
He explained comprehensive investigation is needed in this murder scenario for digging out the fact who murdered Jasleem and precisely for what causes.
