Patna: VIII class I students return to their school with mixed feelings on Monday.
They attended their first physical class from the 2021-2022 session with a capacity of 50% and Covid safety protocol.
Most of the principal told this reporter that they witnessed a moderate presence in the main classes.
Marie D’Cruz, Deputy Principal of St Michael High School (SMH), said, “Some class VI students to VIII came to school on Day 1.” The main wing of SMHS is likely to continue the offline class from next week.
Seema Singh, Principal of High School St Karen, claimed that nearly 30% of students (VIII) attended offline classes and strictly followed Covid security norms.
They eat food in their class during lunch break.
“The decision on class I students to V will be taken after analyzing the Covid situation for the next few days,” he added.
Nearly 40% of class I students to V and 60% of class VIII attended the physical class at DAV Public School-Walmi on Monday.
The principal, M k the watershed, said, “All campuses are unanned before children enter school and after they leave.” Meanwhile, class VIII students, Shaurya, shared their experiences back to school with this newspaper.
He said, “I was really nervous when I entered school, but Twitter vanished so I saw my friends.” Other students, Pranjal Singh, sighed relieved when he saw everyone wearing a mask and cling to safety norms on his school campus.
