He came from Bakhri Village and was Mukhiya from Bakhri Buzurg Panchayat for two consecutive times.

Jha also ran to stand the bus at Musreigharari Chowk for several years and was considered an influential person in the area, according to the police.
Immediately after the murder, his supporters blocked Musrigharari Chowk by placing vehicles in the middle of the road, barricades and by Arson.
This is NH-28 who passed this chowk and connected Muzaffarpur to Begusarai.
Traffic remained disturbed for almost more than an hour and the blockade was removed by the police after calming the protesters.
When asked, Samastipur SP Manavjit Singh Dhillon told Ti by telephone that Jha returned to his car parked on the village road after a meeting with two families in Tolias when he was shot dead.
“Eyewitnesses told the police that one Rajesh friend with another colleague approached Jha and released six rounds.
Four bullets hit Jha on the chest and other parts of the body after that he fell in place,” he said.
Dhillon said that Pal and his colleagues escaped from the point by foot after killing Jha.
“Some residents recognize Pal immediately when he comes from the same,” he said.
SP said that Jha went to a place to resolve the dispute between two families on a private road that occurred in their midst.
“He has parked his car a little far like the way is too narrow to reach to their home,” he said.
SP Dhillon said at least two separate pistols were used in killing Jha when police recover two empty cartridges 7.65mm and four of 9mm.
He said that the police investigated whether personal hostility occurred from before because he was shot dead.
Police Station Musrigharari Sho Sanjay Kumar Singh, Rajesh shooter was accused of at least three criminal cases including murder which took place last year.
“He has been in prison in 2018 and then in the first half of last year.
He constantly avoided the arrest after last year’s murder,” Singh said.
Sho said that the attack was carried out at Rajesh’s residence in the village but he avoided arrest.
He said the police tried to ensure the second shooter identity.
“The body has been sent to Post-Mortem after it will be handed over to the family.
The police waited for a written complaint from their side to reshape the FIR,” he added.
