PATNA: The Narcotics Control Bureau at a joint operation with all Patna police detained three drug smugglers and recovered large amounts of morphine together with arms and ammunition out of their procession at Patna after extensive raids which lasted till Friday morning.
NCB sources stated that among the raids was ran on leased lodging near Mauji Mala marketplace at Khemnichak beneath Ramkrishna Nagar police station area on Thursday night resulting in the arrests.
They stated that detained persons were recognized as Sunny Kumar, Munna Ravidas and Raju Prasad.
Resources stated 710 g of morphine and two state made pistols containing a semiautomatic 1 and four live cartridges were recovered by the lodging which Sunny had leased.
NCB Patna zonal unit manager Kumar Manish stated that Sunny was one of the significant smugglers of medications in Patna.
