Patna: Although the number of Covid-19 cases in the state has increased dramatically in recent days, most patients recovered in one or two weeks.
Most of them seem to be infected with Omicron variants.
According to health experts, people infected with omicron variants usually show mild and cured symptoms in house isolation.
This is mostly because most of them have been immunized against Covid-19 and developing immunity.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, Executive Director of the State Health Community, told this reporter, “Of the 32 samples sent to the Institute of Indira Gandhi Medical Sciences for the sequencing of the genome, 27 is the Omicron variant of Covid-19.
Overall 96 more samples have been sent to the house Pain for genome sequencing, with the expected results in three to four days.
“He added,” It is premature to conclude that all Covid cases identified through the RT-PCR test are Omicron variants.
People also contract Delta or other variants.
“Dr.
Sanjeev Kumar, The Nodal Officer for Covid at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences-Patna (AIIMS-P), states that there are no variants that must be taken lightly and that infected individuals must get adequate breaks and drugs in house isolation To avoid further complications.
“At present, at least 55 covid patients are treated at AIIMS-P, with some of them critical ill.
People who have comorbidity require special medical care,” explained the doctor.
Dr.
Satish Kumar from Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) recognizes that the majority of positive cases reported today seem to be from the Omicron variant.
He said, “Someone who is infected with Covid must be isolated at least seven days, three of which must be free fever.
If the patient has a fever on the seventh day of isolation, he must remain isolated for three additional days.” About 50 patients currently receive Care at Nmch’s Covid Ward, but nothing is in critical condition.
“Only those who have suffered from other serious illnesses before contracting Covid showed severe symptoms.
For those who have tested positively despite receiving vaccination doses, infection will act as a kind of booster dose,” Dr.
Satish is claimed.
He did it, however, urged people to adopt Covid’s appropriate behavior to protect themselves.
