Patna: The robber allegedly fled with an ornament worth Rs 5 lakh from a jewelry store in Chanchawa Bazaar under the area of the Siwan District Police Station on Saturday.
They committed a crime by blowing up a bomb and fired indiscriminately in a crowded market, then escaped from the scene.
According to the police source, six robbers arrived at two motorcycles near the jewelry shop.
While three entered the store, the rest waited outside.
The criminals threatened the shop owner, Sushil Kumar, with a gun and escaped with a gold ornament worth Rs 5 Lakh after 20 minutes.
Some customers were also present at the store at the time of the incident.
Police from the Maharajanj Police Station and DSP Polast Kumar arrived at the scene and immediately began investigating this case.
Sushil told them that the criminals had threatened to kill him if he protested the robbery of the store.
DSP stated that the police team was examining several closed circuit television cameras installed on the market.

Two criminals on the bike grabbed the bag when the victim walked.
The latter stated that his bag contained a fixed deposit paper, two passbooks, and aadhaar cards.
He submitted a case against unknown individuals at the Majiurhi police station in this matter.
Sho Ranjeet Kumar said, “After the booty report, we examined the closed circuit television camera installed near the scene.
We did not receive instructions in this case so far, because the face of the criminal was borne.
We are investigating the incident from every corner, and the perpetrators will soon be Arrested.
