Patna: The state government has initiated actions to destroy personal or commercial structures built around prisons that violate regulations and regulations and submit serious security threats to this sensitive installation.
Construction has been found near the Burch Central Jail, a district prison in Hajipur, Kathar and Sitamarhi and Special Bhagalpur Center.

Resources said the owner of 40 housing and commercial buildings around the Beur prison and 31 such property owners around the Katihar District Prison had served a notification in the past week according to the law before taking drives demolition.

When contacted, IG (Prison and Correctional Services) Mithhilesh Mishra on Wednesday said there should be no personal or commercial construction within a 50-meter radius of the central prison limit, 30 district prison meters and 20 meters from the prison quarterly walls as per law security.
“Only the state government buildings or centers are excluded,” he said.
Mishra said the prison authorities in the district had been asked to get measurements made by civilian bodies and then start actions to destroy these structures.
“We accept reports from prison authorities one by one,” he said.
He said such construction was illegal without sanctions from civil bodies or illegally permitted.
The source of the Beur prison said the antisocial element gathered near the main entrance because of the commercial company.
“Nobody knows whether there are those who associate a terrorist, Maoists or feared criminals.
In addition, housing houses are only adjacent to the curb and anyone there can see our activities in prison,” said a source.
“The civil authority allows such construction for decades.
We almost never mark this problem or submit protests against such construction,” he added.
