Patna / Chhapra: The Garkha Sho police station and five other police teams were seriously injured in an attack by alleged sand mafia in San District Monday night.
Sho Amitesh Kumar and Jeep Police Driver MD Javed has been treated at the Chhapra Sadar Hospital.
Sho suffered an injury on his head.
A man, identified as Ram Mohan Singh from Mahari Village under the Avtarnagar police station in advice, was destroyed to death by a fast truck, whose driver escaped during the raid.

The incident occurred when the team with the police, the Regency Transportation Department and the Ministry of Mining and Geology carried out an attack on illegal sand mining between Jhauwa Dhala and Mathurapur.

Eyewitness said Sho was hit with a blunt difficult substance in his head while the driver’s hand broke.
Both of them fell unconscious.
Santosh Kumar’s suggestion said police personnel from Doriganj, Avtarnagar and Garkha were involved in operations.
The action against illegal sand mining will continue, he told this newspaper by telephone on Tuesday.
The police confiscated 19 sand loaded trucks.
Sand mining remains suspended in the state for three months because the river is in the Spate during the rainy season.
Previously, the Mahua Sho police station and around a dozen police personnel in Vaishali were injured in an attack on the police team who raided in Milki Village on Sunday night.
More than 30 people, including women, have been arrested in that case.
Raids still turned on other people involved in evil.
