Madhepura: Unknown criminals allegedly broke into the Bank of India on Jalan Station in Madhepura City in early morning, trying to steal deposits in it.
They tried to break the machine with hand pump handle.
According to sources, the incident was arrested and transmitted to the Bank Head Office in Mumbai through a sensor attached to the ATM.
Officials concerned reported this problem to the Bihar police headquarters in Patna, who referred to Madhepura police.
The police immediately swung, but the criminals can escape due to darkness and narrow roads.
Vikrant Kumar, Bank of India branch manager, told this reporter that the ATM was broken, but there was no cash withdrawn.
“The case has been submitted against unknown criminals in this relationship, and the police are conducting an investigation,” said Suresh Prasad Singh, Sho-cum-Inspector from the Madhepura Police Station.
