SAMASTIPUR/PATNA: The entire body of a priest, Surendra Kumar Rai, has been located at a temple at Mohanpur below the Mufassil police station region of Samastipur area on Saturday morning.
The natives seen his own body around the veranda once they touched the temple to worship the deities.
Eyewitnesses told authorities that blood was oozing from Surendra’s mouth and he also had injury marks on his neck and face.
The SHO of this Mufassil police channel, Praveen Kumar Mishra, told this paper the postmortem report could explain whether the priest had been murdered or that he died naturally.
“Surendra’s son, Shambhu Kumar, has promised he had a struggle with his nephew, Anil Rai, along a parcel of property on Friday afternoon.
He, consequently, suspects Anil’s participation in the alleged invasion,” he further added.
A resident of Mohanpur, Surendra had allegedly spent a great deal of cash on the building of the temple by promoting part of the property.
He had to sleep in a space constructed on the assumptions of this temple each evening.
