Bhagalpur: A 25-year-old married woman was raped by two people in Gobhibi at Pindi in the university police station in the city around 9pm on Saturday.
The victim, in his complaint, alleged that Kanhaiya Yadav and Sawan Yadav dragged her husband to a remote place and forgiven struggling after he refused to pay RS500 as extortion for food and liquor.
The victim said that Sawan came to him said he had to meet Kanhaiya and look for forgiveness if he was not a husband to be killed.
Because of fear, he went to see him, but his husband had managed to escape somehow.
He alleged that Kanhaiya, brandished a gun and threatened him with terrible consequences, estimating him and also asked Sawan to do the same.
The victim accused him of somehow managed to break away from their grip and take refuge in the nearest house where he was given clothes.
He told the police that people gathered and notified the police.
City SP dismantled Prabhat, when contacted, said on the Sunday attack was being carried out to arrest them.
“We also looked into the criminal anteseden accused,” he said and added that the victim’s medical examination had been carried out.
