Patna: The state continues to witness the trend of reducing the number of Daily Covid cases with 655 people who tested the positive virus on Thursday.
A sharp decline was seen in the Patna district also where 64 new cases were recorded on Thursday, almost 3.5 times less than the day before 228 cases were registered.
Officially, four deaths are registered in the state in the last 24 hours.
With this, the country’s Covid victims have increased to 12,230.
Overall 1,50,210 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
With 1,013 more recovered from the virus on Thursday, the number of active cases in this country has dropped to 3,390.
The maximum number of cases on Thursday is reported from Purnia where 142 people have been tested positively, followed by Patna.
Other districts report less than 50 cases.
While Sheikhpura reported no new case, Sheohar and Kaiur reported one case respectively.
Fifteen districts, on the other hand, reported cases in one digit.
Meanwhile, more than 11.35 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been managed in a state so far, including the first 6.48 crore dose, more than 4.81 crore second dose and more than 5.56 lakh prevention doses.
Until Thursday night, 44.02 teenagers had been affixed to the state.
Minister of Health Mangal Pandey said special programs for prevention doses for the elderly will be launched.
He said the teen survey was also finding out those who missed their vaccines.
