Patna: Bihar has reported 34 Covid-19 cases on Sunday, the lowest daily number in the second wave of pandemic.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total active case in the state also fell to 310 because 45 people recovered from infection in the last 24 hours.
The state has a recovery rate of 98.63%, which is 1.24% higher than the national average of 97.39%.
So far, 9,646 people have died because of the deadly virus in Bihar.
The nineteen district reported zero a positive case against a total of 1,43,851 samples collected for the last 24 hours.
The level of participants also fell to 0.02% on Sundays.
Muzaffarpur and Nalanda contributed four cases each while three new cases were reported on Patna and one case in ten districts.
Of the 310 active cases, Patna contributed nearly 13.2% because 41 people were still infected with this disease.
Seven districts have become Covid free.
They are Banka, Buxar, Gopalganj, Jehanabad, Kaiur, Purnia and Siwan.
Eighteen districts have active cases in one digit while the rest have less than 25 Covid-19 cases.
Overall 7.25,192 people have been infected and 7.15,236 of them recovered in the state since March last year.
Meanwhile, 1.57,805 covid vaccine doses are given throughout the state on Sunday.
So far, more than 2.75 doses of crore vaccines have been given at Bihar.
The eighth state in the country in managing vaccine doses to qualified beneficiaries.
