Patna: The status on Tuesday reported 2,362 new Covid-19 cases, compared with 1821 cases on Monday.
However, the level of prospective on Tuesday was 1.57%, less than 1.72% reported the day before.
Officially, four deaths were reported in the state.
The Special Secretary of State Department Sanjay Kumar Singh said the reason behind the lower number of cases on Monday was not because less tests were carried out on Sundays.
Singh said such a trend was observed after every weekend.
Singh said the district with a high level of pepositives had also begun to show a decline.
Patna has 23.02% of the level of pepositives during the peak, but drops to 5.63% on Tuesday.
Patna reported a maximum of 284 cases, followed by 253 in Purnia, which had a level of capititivity of 6.76%.
Saharsa reported 206 cases, followed by the East Champaran (119) and Madhubani (101).
AIIMS-P reported three deaths, including a three-year-old girl from Vaishali.
He also suffered from blood cancer.
Other deceased including a 65-year-old woman from Nawada and a 75-year-old man from Masaurhi.
Meanwhile, more than 3.37 Doses of Lakh Vaccine Covid-19 was managed on Tuesday.
