Bihar: RJD Protests Price Increase, Unemployment

Patna: A large number of RJD Supremo workers then Prasad and opposition leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav issued a procession, organized Dharnas and burned PM ribbon Narendra Modi and CM Nith Kumar at headquarters in the state on Sunday the first day of the ‘Halla Bol’ agitation of their two days to protest against prices and unemployment in the country.
Agitation began early in the morning with party workers issued a procession on the bull train carrying LPG cylinders and household appliances.
They also carry posters, banners and shout slogans against the central government and the state government demanded the steps for improvement to examine price increases.
Then they sat in Dharna at the block headquarters, which then turned into a meeting.
The meeting was aimed at senior party leaders, who asked people to come out in an open place to vent their anger against the government.
“For how long will you continue to suffer because of price increases?,” They asked.
RJD State Secretary Chandeshwar Prasad Singh said the workers burned the effigion of PM Narendra Modi at Cargil Chowk near Gandhi Maidan in the state capital under the party’s banner of the Mahanagar Party and aware.
Shyam National RJD Secretary General Rajak led the protest marching under the Phulwarisharif block in the Patna district.
RJD spokesman Mritunjay Tiwari called Sunday agitation as a historic person and claimed that he received massive support from the people.
“Hatred of the price increase, unemployment, corruption and poverty palpites on the masses of the masses,” he added.
Tiwari accused that while poor people became more poor, corporate houses became richer during the NDA government both at the central and state.
In some places, the left party activists, who are RJD ally, also lend their support.
Tiwari said that the protest would be held at the District Head Office on Monday.
On Saturday said that he gave Matra to deal with prices and other diseases that disturb the country during the NDA government.
Then tweeted, “Nda Hato, Mahangai Ghato (delete NDA, reduce prices).” RJD launched agitation a day after similar protests were held by Congress on the same problem.
Congress leaders have taken the rally cycle on Saturday to expose the government.
