Patna: East Central Railway (ECR) will restore six special passenger train services on different routes from August 1 to help local passengers cover the short distance comfortably.
According to the Chief Public Relations ECR (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar, a special train is the city of Sindri-Dhanbad (03323/03324), Barwadih-Dehri in Sone (03311/03312), Gomoh-Chidan (03343/03344), Jamalpur (03615 / 03616), Kiul-style (03627/03628) and Patna-Sasarar (03611/03612) Special.
Meanwhile, 17 special passenger trains come from or through various places under the Jurisdiction of East Central Train (ECR) were canceled due to heavy rainfall and water in the railroad in the area of Howrah Station in West Bengal on Saturday.
These include Rajendra Nagar Terminal-Howrah (02351/02352), Raxaul-Howrah (03044), Howrah-Patna (02023), Howrah-Dhanbad (02339/02340), Dhanbad-Howrat, (03388) Dehradun-Howrah (02328), Prayagraj-Howrah (02334), Kathgodam-Howrah (03019/03020) and Bikaner-Howrah (02388) Special.
“Saharsa-sealdah Special (03163/03164) was transferred to the route Hat Gumani-Rampi,” said CPRO.
ECR gets a new GM: Anupam Sharma takes over as a new general manager (GM) from the East Hajj-headquartered (ECR) train on Friday night.
Before this, he was an additional general manager from the South East Railway.
Products from Batch 1982 of Indian train services from mechanical engineers, Sharma has joined the Indian train as a special class internship.
He obtained a Masters in Financial Management from Mumbai University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management and Policy from the Indian-Ahmedabad Institute of Management.
