Patna: On Monday, schools throughout the state will be reopened for students of class XI and XII.
Complete settings have been made by different school administration for children’s safety and staff remembering a pandemic.
From campus sanitation, thermal scanning facilities, cleaners or soap, masks, first aid, drinking water and toilets, all of them have been carried out according to standard operating procedures (SOP) issued by the State Education Department.
The school will reopen some only allow 50% of children in places on alternative days.
Lintang Principal Badge Sharat Kumar Singh said they would do classes in two shifts at the same time but on different floors.
“All classes have been divided into two groups and only 50% of children will be permitted in each class.
We will ensure that children will not mingle each other during the class.
All arrangements and sanitization have been carried out on July 10 now, we hope for Seeing a good presence because many parents have given their consent, “he said.
MKS Ahmad, headmaster Kendriya Vidyalaya, Danapur Cantt said that the hand-free cleaning machine had been installed at the entrance gate and a digital thermometer there was also there to check the temperature of children and staff before allowing them to enter the school building.
“We will do classes only class XII in alternative days with a 50% presence on the day while 50% of other children on another day,” he said.
Dutta DAV Principal DAV MK Das said the mask vending machine was installed in the school, so that, those who lost masks or forgot to be brought can get one of the machines.
“The campus has been dissedged and thoroughly disinfected.
All school vehicles are also cleaned.
After the state orders the state, class XII will attend classes on alternative days,” he said.
All school missionaries such as Notre Dame Academy, St Michael High School, Loyola Middle School, Carmel High School and SM Joseph High School are likely to be reopened from next week, because they understand that very few children appear.
Don Bosco Academy Principal Mary Alphonsa said that all safety steps have been taken but they will reopen the school for class XII from next week.
St Karen’s High School Principal Singh Singh told this newspaper that the unit test was scheduled for this week, so they did not reopen the school.
“Schools will be reopened from next week because children from class I to XII have to take their online unit test.
We will call class XII students alternatively from next Monday,” he said.
The government school has also prepared to be reopened by following all Covid-19 safety protocols.
Ravi Ranjan, Principal of High School said only 50% of students would attend classes on Monday while the other half on Tuesday.
“Classrooms have been disanitized and facilities such as sanitaryers, thermal scanners and drinking water have been made according to the guidelines.
Extra masks are also in stock if anyone does not bring it” he said.
