The Health Society of Executive State Executive Executive Animesh Kumar Parasar on Friday said data hosting work is ongoing and after completion, each principal will provide micro planning for vaccinations in their schools.
“This will include the number of children who will fall under the beneficiary category for vaccination, names and contact Nodal teachers and heads.
After this information is available, we will mark vaccinators,” Parasar said, adding a state planning first before the child vaccination Children from 12 and above.
Parasar further said this method would help them know the right number of children and would alleviate the vaccination process.
Earlier this week, the Chairperson of the Covid-19 Working Group of the Central Government of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization, Dr.
NK Arora, said that the vaccination of children from 12 to 14 years will begin from March.
Parasar said they had started preparation in this matter and once the signal was given from the center, they would launch a vaccination process in Bihar.
Until now, the vaccination of children over 15 years occurs throughout the country, including Bihar.
Data from Friday afternoon shows that 33.36 Lakh’s teenager in the country has been inoculated with the first dose of vaccines and taking into account nearly 40% of the targeted population.
There were a total of 83.46 Lakh recipients in this age group at Bihar.
Parasar further said the country was fourth in this country in terms of vaccination coverage.
Until Friday afternoon, more than 10.90 crore doses have been inoculated in Bihar.
