ARA: The courtroom of additional district and sessions judge (ADJ-9) Manoj Kumar in Ara on Monday given death sentence to each of the ten accused of murdering a prominent community luggage dealer, Imran Khan, from the crowded market area of Dharman Chowk on December 6, 2018.
The condemned persons consist of infamous criminal Khurshid Kuraishi along with his brother Abdullah Kuraishi.
Others who received departure sentence are Anwar Kuraishi, Guddu Miyan, Shamsher Miyan, Phurchan Miyan, Babli Miyan, Ahmad Miyan, Raju Khan along with Tausif Alam.
The court found them guilty of murder, and criminal conspiracy, making panic for extortion and the Arms Act.
Before, they had been convicted under divisions 387/34, 307/34, 302/34, 120(B) of the IPC and Section 27 of Arms Act.
The court imposed a fine of Rs2.6 lakh on every one of the convicts.
Even though APP Nagendra Prasad Singh represented the prosecution , attorneys Bhuneshwar Tiwari, Shivji Singh and Amit Kumar Gupta claimed in the side.
APP Singh told mediapersons the Imran was murdered at his store in Shobha Market in Dharman Chowk.
“His brother Akil Ahmad had been hurt at the heavy shooting by the offenders.
A called FIR was lodged against ten people together with all the Town police station of Ara about the announcement of Akil,” he explained.
It had been alleged that the offenders had required Rs10 lakh out of Imran, that refused to pay the extortion money and had been murdered by the accused,” Singh explained.
The decision was delivered through videoconferencing.
According to the sources, there has been quite a long protracted dispute about the ownership into a marketplace in Ara involving the dead and Khurshid.
