Patna: The cloudy sky can make a comeback after winter rain and hail witnessed in several parts of the state earlier this week when the Meteorology Department of India (IMD) on Friday issued estimates for wet spells in East India for the next two days.
Even though the rainfall has not been predicted in Bihar, but most of the cloudy sky tends to be more than Patna and several other places in South Bihar because Jharkhand, which side by side is likely to receive light rainfall to moderate on Saturday.
Mohammad Zeeshan Ansari, an official at the center of Meteorology Patna, said most of the cloudy sky expected in the future for the next 48 hours.
Meanwhile, the clear sky after rain earlier this week has caused a plunge at a minimum temperature.
Valmikasigar in the West Champaran, Motihari in the East Champaran and Jiradei in Siwan recorded a minimum temperature of 9.0 degrees C on Friday morning.
The highest maximum temperature, on the other hand is recorded in Khagaria at 23.7 degrees C.
“The night temperature will continue to fall,” Ansari said.
The Meteorology Center Patna has estimated that the minimum temperature in Patna will be around 9 degrees C four days, 9-10 degrees C in style and 10-11 degrees C in Bhagalpur.
The weather has mostly dry in the state in the last 24 hours.
Some places in the northeastern part of the country watched paging fog in the morning hours.
“The weather tends to stay dry for the next 48 hours too.
Cold Westerly winds will continue to blow in the western part of the state, while the east wind is relatively warmer will blow in the eastern part of the country,” Ansari said.
