Patna: The country on Saturday recorded 79 fresh Covid-19 cases and one death.
Overall 1.33,095 samples were tested throughout the state in the last 24 hours.
That day also saw 105 people recovering from the virus in the state.
The only fresh death was reported from Samastipur.
79 Fresh cases took Tally Covid the country to 7.23,864.
However, with 7.13,482 people recovered from this disease, the number of active cases in the country was established in 754 on Saturday.
None of the districts reported the case in two digits on Saturday.
While 10 districts did not report new cases, nine contributed only one case respectively.
A maximum of nine cases recorded in Khagaria, followed by seven in Saharsa and six on Patna.
Three new Covid patients were treated at Aiims-Patna on Saturday.
Meanwhile, more than five beneficiaries of Lakh were vaccinated in the state on Saturday.
So far, more than two covid-19 crore vaccine doses have been given (including the first and second doses) in Bihar and among the top eight countries in this country to provide a maximum dose amount.
According to the Ministry of Health, 1.75 Crore people have taken the first dose and more than 31 lakh second doses in the country so far.
