Patna: Overall, three passengers, including two women, was injured when three armed criminals allegedly fired a shot in one of the train coaches, Jhajha-Patna (03213) on Monday.
What was injured, was identified as Sunil Kumar aka Hebal Singh, Lalita Devi and Darpania Devi, was taken to the primary health center of Khusrupur from where they were both referred to Patna Medical College and hospitals for better care.
According to the source, the incident took place at 11:30 a.m.
when the train reached the Khusropur station which fell under the jurisdiction of the Danapur Division of East Central Railway (ECR).
“Three armed criminals entered the coach and opened fire, creating panic among the passengers.
Bullets hit one Sunil Kumar, who took the train in Manjhauli stopped, and two women sat behind him.
Before other passengers could react, the criminals fled from the place.

The main investigation revealed that criminals had targeted Sunil (45) due to land disputes.
A pine was submitted to the Khusropur government train police in this relationship and the injured passenger statement was recorded.
CPRO Rajesh Kumar ECR said, “The train, who was detained at Khusropur Station for a while, was left at 11.43 in the morning.
Other trains were detained at the station after the incident.”
