PATNA: Chief ministry (CM) Nitish Kumar on Sunday declared a new plot,’Baal Sahayata Yojana’, to induce kids orphaned by Covid-19.
The CM said the state authorities would offer yearly stipend to the majority of kids and daycare centre to people who have zero caretaker besides providing particular impetus into the instruction of orphan women.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, on the other hand, has stated his administration would provide Rs 3,500 a month per kid till hisor her job, in the event the kid has dropped both parents or the only bread earner of the household because of Covid.
Based on statistics available with Bihar’s social welfare section, approximately 50 kids have been orphaned at the next wave of Covid-19 at Bihar while over 1,480 have dropped one of the parents because of this virus.
