Patna: Two brothers were shot dead while the third was injured by the ownership of Pampam Singh and his colleagues allegedly on a property dispute in Sakrohar Village in the Beldaur police station in the Khagaria district after Thursday midnight.
Three people, including Pampam’s parents and one of his friends were arrested.
Dhananjay Singh (63) and Vijay Singh (60) died in place.
Women and children from family managed to escape.
Pappu Singh (55) is undergoing hospital treatment.
Sho (responsible) PANKAJ Prakash said the killers in police uniforms, after reaching in front of Dhananjay’s house, shouting that they came to catch famous criminals, Ramkrishna Yadav.
Police said Kakek Dhananjay married twice and the pampam was the only one step cousin.
Dhananjay and his brothers have disputes about various fields of land with pampam.
“The dispute settled one by one with the last settling almost a few months back by Sarpanch,” said Khagaria SP Amitesh Kumar.
Amitesh said the pampam was associated with Mithilesh Yadav, a famous villain of Saharsa, while Dhananjay and his brothers and siblings were aligned with other criminals Ramkrishna, who was Mithilesh’s mother’s uncle and his rival.
Mithilesh may be informed that Ramkrishna hid inside Dhananjay’s house, he said.
“The criminals doing a home search after bringing everyone out but failed to find Ramkrishna.
Meanwhile, Pampam opened a shot, killing Dhanjay and Vijay while Pappu received a shot injury,” he said, citing eyewitnesses.
Mithilesh and his gang committed a crime in a police uniform.
At least eight cases were submitted against Ramkrishna with the Beldaur police station.
He has avoided catching over the past few months.
“He was accused of more than 10-12 criminal cases in Khagaria, Madhepura and Saharsa.
Last month, RS25,000 gift was stated to him,” SP was added.
