Patna: Two people were killed and others were seriously injured after a land dispute in Kishunpur under the Bihta police station in the rural Patna on Saturday and Sunday intervention.
The deceased was identified as Rahul Kumar (30) and Pradip Kumar (28), both the residents of Kishunpur.
What was injured, Ajit Kumar (26), has been accepted in a private nursing home in the state capital.
Attorned over murder, villagers blocked Jalan Patna-Ara and disrupted vehicle traffic.
The protesters allowed the police to lift the body for Postmortem only after Patna City SP (West) Ashok Mishra visited the place around 11am on Sunday and soothing the masses.
Mishra said two suspects, including a woman, had been detained for interrogation.

The incident occurred around 1am when the three were sleeping in the emergency room in a plot of land purchased by Rahul from Co-Resident Pramod Mahto recently.
The attackers reached there and shoot indiscriminately caused a sad injury to the trio.
While Rahul and Pradip died at that place, Ajit received a bullet injury on his head.
The attackers escaped after committing a crime.
An officer who investigated said Rahul had bought land from Pramod Mahto a few years ago.
Then, the wife of Pramod’s brother, Manoj Mahto, demanded his part in the country, which led to a dispute with Rahul.
Some locals blamed Sonu Kumar, was declared MLA’s nephew, for crime when he (Sonu) intervened in the name of Manoj’s wife.
Virendra Maner Mla Bhai also tried to resolve disputes, but in vain.
The police said the incident was carefully planned.
CCTV cameras from the nearest school were also damaged before the incident.
Ramesh Singh, Rahul’s father, said his son had begun to display land, which was damaged by his rival group.
“After that he decided to stay there at night, which proved fatal for him,” he added.
Last month, six people were killed and three others were injured in a land dispute under the Chhabilapur Police Station area in the Nalanda district.
