Patna: A woman allegedly beaten to death because he cleaned the bed filled with bedbugs in front of his neighbor’s house in Kenasarai Village under the Mufasil police station in Nawada on Saturday night.
The woman, who was identified as Girija Devi, 35, rushed to the hospital but gave up on an injury after undergoing treatment there for several hours.
The prime was accused of this case, Chandrika Choudhary (40), was arrested on Sunday.
Even though the police claimed the incident occurred to extract bedbugs from his bed in front of Chandrika’s house, the media report quoted Girija’s husband Arjun Choudhary said he was beaten for protesting the consumption of liquor by the defendant.
Nawada realized SDPO Upendra Prasad said the preliminary investigation revealed that the Bedbug problem caused him to stretch and the next death.
Spdo said he had learned that Girija’s husband had recorded his statement to the police on Sunday night on the basis of FIR to be registered.
However, SDPO said he was not aware of the allegations made by Arjun against Chandrika and was accused of another.
The Mufassil police station, Lal Bihari Pastras said two Chandrika’s son and his wife avoided the arrest in connection with the murder.
He said the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m.
and the woman died around 8pm.
“Regarding the information, the police reached the place but the woman was in a hurry to the hospital.
Maybe, she might have received serious internal injury,” he said.
He said the body was sent to do postmortem.
