Patna: Union Ministry of Manpower and Work, led by Bhupender Yadav, gave a nod to the Bihta Esic Hospital on Thursday to start his own medical college.
BJP MP, RAM chipper Yadav, which has supported the project for a long time, called the center decision “great prize for Bihar people”.
“I thank the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and Minister of Manpower and Work, Bhupender Yadav, to strengthen Bihar’s medical infrastructure and reduce the burden on Patna Medical College and Hospital,” he said.
Yadav added, “While waiting for a central nod, all the settings to start medical colleges have been made.
The academic session will begin soon.” MP BJP also shows that people from Patna, Bihta, Ara, and Bhojpur will also benefit from medical colleges and hospital.
Minister of Health, Pandey Mangal and BJP MLC, Devesh Kumar, also thanked the Government of Trade Union.
Pandey said the medical college would have a 100 Mbbs seat.
He added, “classrooms, hostels, and other important buildings have been built.
Only faculty members must be appointed and new equipment purchased for the laboratory.” After being functional, Esic will become the 18th Medical College and Hospital in Bihar, including six personal ones.
During the first wave and both pandemic, it was made a dedicated Covid hospital.
