Mumbai: The local court on Friday returned Shweta Singh and Mayank Rawatat, was arrested in the case of ‘Bulli Bai’ application, to 14 days of judicial resistance, while the former suspicion he was slapped during the interrogation.
The two defendants were arrested from Uttrakhand by Mumbai Police earlier this month in connection with the ‘Bulli Bai’ application that targets Muslim women.
Singh, 18, and Rawat 21, also submitted their guarantee application as soon as the Magistrate court on the outskirts of the bandra returned them to hold judicially for 14 days.

Earlier this week, Vishal Jha, the first accused of being arrested in this matter, and investigative officers in this case have also been tested positive for Covid-19.
On Friday, the court was told by the prosecution that Jha and was treated at the Covid-19 treatment center in the Kalina Mumbai region, Jha Shivam Deshmukh’s advice.
The court scheduled a hearing on the guarantee application submitted by the three accused of January 17 and directed prosecution to submit a response at that time.
During the hearing on Friday, Singh’s advocacy accused before the court that he was slapped during interrogation.
