Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Friday visits various places with the Ganges and Sone River in Bhojpur and Regency suggestions through the road to take stock trends in the water level in rivers and floods produced in low areas in the area.
CM reached the district advice through Koelwar and Babura (both in the Bhojpur District) after taking water level stocks on the SONE River in Koilwar Roadbridge, and in Ganga in Babura Road Bridge.
He then reached the Sonepur area after crossing Doriganj and Mauzampur in the district suggestion.
During the tour, CM not only took stock of flood water spread across the lowland area with the Sone and Ganga river, but also checked the kitchen of the community in Museur Chowk in the District Suggestion.
Nitish spoke to people who ate in the kitchen of the community, which had been opened for a family affected by the flood, and asked about arrangements in the kitchen.
He also examined the Covid vaccination center run near the kitchen community.
During the community kitchen inspection, Nitish asked district officials to ensure Covid-19 tests everyone who lived there and made separate arrangements for those who would be tested positively Covid-19.
“Also ensure the vaccination of all people who have not been vaccinated,” Nitish to officials.
Nitish also spoke to several displaced people, currently living in Chowk’s refuge, and heard their complaints.
As a result, CM asks for DM’s advice to expand the sitting area in the kitchen of the existing community so that more people can eat there and eat more easily.
He then asked officials to make tent arrangements and other important items in the kitchen of the community.
Accompanied by the Minister of Water Resources Negara Sanjay Kumar Jha, CM also spoke to several representatives of elected people in the district advice and asked them to work coordinate with the district administration for the distribution of affected materials.
DM’s advice told CM about the affected population, the number of ships that run to save the family-hit by the flood and other assistance work.
While returning to the state capital, Nitish stopped at the Sonepur-Digha bridge over Ganga and took water level stock in the river which had maintained an increasing trend over the past few days.
Immediately after returning to the state capital, CM held a review meeting with the Department of Water Resources and Disaster Management Department.
He asked officials to assess damage caused by flood waters in various districts.
He also asked for damage to the damage caused by rice plantations.
Nitish then asks state-level officials to stay constantly related to DMS and maintain continuous obligations in the situation of water in the river.
He asked district level officials to accelerate the help and rescue work so that the affected people received quick help.
