Jaipur: Customs officials on Tuesday intercepted two parcels at the foreign post office here and found wild bird parts including ostrich feathers and larger paradise bird head dolls.
According to customs officials, Parsel, which originated from England, was intercepted in the tip-off by the department field agent.
After seizing the package, customs officials contacted the forest officer to confirm whether the items were real.
During follow-up search, burdensible documents were also confiscated.
Further investigations are in process, officials said.
The package has reached Jaipur a few days ago and aimed at someone in the city.

Both items fall under the Convention on the International Trade in endangered species (CITES) of wild fauna and flora, which are international agreements between the government.
