JODHPUR: A week after the trial court rejected Plea Guarantee of one of the main breaks in Bhanwari Devi kidnapping and murder case, former Malkhan Legislator Singh Bishnoi was given a guarantee by the High Court on Tuesday.
As other accused, which has succeeded in getting guarantees by the High Court in the past few days, Bishni’s guarantee is also the result of the command of the Supreme Court, who has received the Guarantee Plea of ​​his brother and is accused of the same case as the last Bishnoi Parasram.
His advice, quoted the sequence of APEX court in the High Court during hearing a guarantee request, argued at the court that the trial of this case had taken a very long time and the defendant had served 10 years under the judiciary.
On the basis of the same argument, The Apex Court has stated that the defendant cannot be stored under Judicial custody for unlimited time due to delays in the trial, while providing guarantees to the Bishnoi Parasam.
Malkhan Singh has served 10 years in prison and is currently stored in ajmer prison, while the former Main Minister Mahipal Maderna has come out on temporary guarantees for treatment.
PLEA Bail Maderna was also delayed before the High Court, who will come to hear on August 23.
With this fresh guarantee, now a total of 9 defendants have been given guarantees together with Maderna, who came out of 17 was accused.
6 Still under Jadicon custody including Malkhan sister Indra Bishnoi and husband Bhanwari Amarchand.
4 other including the alleged executor of Kidnapping Suka Lal and Shahabuddin and Bishannam Bishno and Kailash Jakhar, who allegedly thrashed Bhanwari Devi’s body.
“Their plea bail has also been rejected by the court of trial last week and now they also have to move to a high court with the application of fresh guarantee,” said one of the defendant’s advisors who stated that the APEX court order had opened the way for all.
