Hyderabad: To fight the Mental Health Challenge, Birl Institute of Technology (BITS), Pilani (Hyderabad Campus) Launches Mpower – Mental Health Care Center that will expand support to those who face anxiety, depression and mental health disorders.
Inaugurated by Birla, Founder and Chair, Mpower is an effort to bring change in mindset and offer mental well-being.
Because of the pandemic, mental illness has emerged as a crisis in India, with doctors observing an increase in the amount of anxiety, depression and other mental illnesses.
The newly inaugurated cells on the bit, Hyderabad will provide one in one counseling and clinical interventions of quality to students, faculties and staff on campus.

In 2021, Mpower has also expanded its clinical footprint to cities throughout the country including a center in Kolkata and cells in Birla College, Kalyan, with plans to launch the center in Pune.
