Bits Pilani-HYD placement record 50% directly in recruiters

Hyderabad: The Birl Institute of Technology (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad campus recorded a 50 percent leap in the number of recruiters from 195 years ago up to 293 years, indicating a progressive placement season for the Institute.
Demand for IT roles in software development, data science, cloud computing and cyber security is proven because 478 students get offers in IT companies, jumping 49.3 percent from 320 students last year.
According to placement cells, companies such as Microsoft, Google, Uber, Nutanix, Arcesium, Flipkart, Adobe and Amazon launched pre-placement offers to their summer internships.
A total of 228 students received an offer of more than Rs 20 Lakh per year, an increase of 22.5 percent of the 2019-20 placement season.
“Since the pandemic, we were a little afraid of placement.
Strangely, we have more companies that come for placement, giving us more options to choose from.
Our placement units do extraordinary work in carrying out so many companies at once,” Yatharth Batra said , 25, which was recently placed in Western Digital as a validation engineer for the 22 lakh RS package.
The infrastructure sector, who underwent rough patches due to labor and supply chain disorders, skeptics in hiring because of an uncertain business scenario.
However, heavyweight infrastructure such as Ramboll, L & T Limited, WSP, Atkins, Stantec, Atkins, and Vestas hired students for the role of structural engineers and transportation from Bit Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
This year’s role, product consultation and management are in demand among students with several leading companies such as Bain, Ernst & Young, Indus Insights, Dalberg, Flipkart and Deloitte offers roles.
“For the year the upcoming placement of 2021-22, Bits Pilani, the Hyderabad campus looks forward to repeating the recruitment season with other brilliant performances,” said Biju Rajan, Senior Manager, Bits Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
