Thackeray returned to Varsha Bungalow, his official residence, after attending a meeting in the Director General of Police in Colaba, when the incident occurred near the teenager Batti Naka.
As soon as security personnel in the convoy pay attention to the vehicle, they and the local police immediately stopped the businessman and the Bukit Malabar police team, who were near the place, took him to the police station.
Entrepreneurs have no knowledge of CM convoys who pass and drive cars in a negligent way, police said.
The police ordered it under Section 279 (driving rash or rising in a public way) and 336 (act to endanger the life or personal safety of others) from the IPC.
He presented a notification and was released but his statement would be recorded when the police called him.
