BJD to support the Stand Center on Afghanistan issues

BHubaneswar: BJD, at meeting all parties organized by the center to discuss the situation in Afghanistan on Thursday, has thrown support behind the center of each step needed to maintain humanity security and to protect national security.
Prasanna Acharya, BJD leader at Rajya Sabha representing the party, said the focus is on the evacuation of all Indians stranded from Afghanistan.
“The government informed that he had intensified rescue operations,” Acharya said.
When India has introduced an e-visa for Afghan citizens to enter India, the BJD leader said it was a central policy decision while BJD supports the size of humanitarian land.
By stating that the current situation in Afghanistan is worrying, Acharya said it would not only affect India, but also all over the world.
“Some leaders in Pakistan openly state that the Taliban will intervene in Kashmir, even though it seems ridiculous.
We say such statements need to be taken seriously by the center to protect the security of the nation,” Acharya told Toi after the meeting.
BJD also highlights the suffering of Afghan students who study in various higher education institutions throughout the country, including Odisha.
More than 50 students from a war-hit by a war are being studied in institutions in Odisha such as the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, the Kalinga Industrial Technology Institute (Kiit), Institute of International Information Technology Bhubaneswar (IIIIT) and Utkal University.
“The students looked at the uncertain future.
There is no certainty whether students can meet their parents or members of their family again.
This center must call these students through the right policy decision,” Acharya said.
The party also expressed concern at the closing of the Indian Embassy in Kabul.
“The average Indian person may face problems because of the closure of the embassy.
When we raised this problem, the government said they treated people to coordinate with several institutions,” Acharya said.
