Bhubaneswar: BJP leaders on Thursday met DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal and demanded legal maintenance and ordered to ensure free, fair and impartial polls during the ongoing Panchayat poll.
The party also accused BJD in power in creating an atmosphere of fear using violence to influence voters.
In a memorandum, the party has quoted several incidents, where BJP candidates are thought to be threatened by party workers in power while there are no actions taken against the perpetrators.
