New Delhi: Party Bharatiya Janata (BJP) on Saturday announced a list of first candidates for the first phase and both elections in the state.
The following is the highlight of the announcement: * BJP has announced the name 107 candidates.
* 63 of 83 Sitting MLA has been repeated, while 20 falls.
* There are 20 new faces on the first list.
* More than 60% of the announced names come from the OBC and SC categories.
* 19 Candidates represent the Dalit community.
* There are 10 female candidates in the first list.
* Minister of Yogi Adityanath’s head for the Gorakhpur (urban) seat * Deputy Minister of Keshav Prasad Maurya for the contest from the Sirathu chair in the Prasagraj district.
* The party has repeated sitting MLA for the noida chair, speech and dadri.
BJP has lowered the PANKAJ Singh from Noida, Tejpal Singh Nagar from Dadri and Dhirendra Singh from the Jewar.
The selection for 403 members of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly is scheduled to be held in seven phases from February 10.
