Kolkata: The President of the BJP District Organization Committee is aware of being expelled from the party on Wednesday, hours after he made a bad comment on the leader of the Senior Party Suvendu Adhikari.
Surojit Saha was issued after describing Adhikary as a “member of the Trinamool B congressional team” and vowed not to work under someone who had been with TMC even a few months ago and was the defendant in the case of grafting.
A BJP leader said that the State Vice President of BJP Pratap Banerjee sent an expulsion letter to Sahham after his time meeting was telecast on the news channel.
The letter said Saha was removed from the party “with the direct effect” to “violate party discipline with his behavior.” BJP President Sukanta Majumder said Saha had crossed the procedure openly by airing his complaint in the media instead of discussing it in the party forum.
Expulsion of Saha came before the civilian poll in Howrah, is scheduled to be held on December 19.
Confirm that he communicated the decision of expulsion, Saha said that party workers were loyal and old as I was expelled.
But those who have crossed into BJP from the Trinamool Congress in several spoiled times even if they are responsible for poor performance by our parties in assembly elections.
“There seems to be a BJP trinamoolisisisis, which will take us everywhere,” he said.
By asserting that no one can take his right to work for the party, Sahha said he had been associated with BJP for more than 30 years.
Adhikari has made a bad comment on the Loyal BJP workers from Howrah and have flattened “false accusations” against them having trucks with TMC when recommending the name Turncoat Trinamool as Chairman of the BJP polling campaign committee for the future Civic poll there, he said.
Sahha claimed that Adhikari said at the organization’s meeting that some BJP leaders like he had a relationship with the leader of TMC Arup Roy in Howrah.
“I dare Adhikari prove that with his former party and unable to secure the advantage at his own region outlets,” he said.
“Loyal BJP workers in Howrah will not work under the direction of this TMC B team members,” he said.
Apparently referring to Sting Narada’s operation, Saha said Adhikari was seen eating grafting on the camera.
Senior BJP leader Anupam Hazra said party leadership had taken into account all factors before starting a step against Saha.
“BJP is a democratic party and each and every decision is taken after sponsored and careful consideration,” he added.
Adhikari refused to comment when asked by reporters.
