KOLKATA: The BJP’s West Bengal president Dilip Ghosh on Friday faced protests in a section of party workers at Chuchura, that declared turncoats were accountable to the saffron brigade’s bad showing at the assembly election in Hooghly district.
They demanded the party leadership eliminate senior BJP leaders of Hooghly, for example, district presidentfrom their articles.
Ghosh listened to the grievances of the protesters, who maintained that turncoats in the TMC were granted BJP tickets to the assembly elections, although people who’ve toiled to the celebration for decades were discounted.
When among those protesters alleged that Trinamool Goons assaulted party employees in connivance with these two leaders, Ghosh explained,”Everyone else is becoming crushed.
