Kolkata: BJP in Bengal has decided to launch a vaccination program for those who are “deprived” by the impulses of the country’s immunization against Covid-19.
The party held a health workshop at the Hastings office on Thursday with the aim of registering two volunteers from each village that would identify beneficiaries and oversee them to hospitals under the institutions / schemes of the Center such as Railways India, Port Authority and ESI.
National Secretary General BJP D Purandeswari released a health manual for volunteers.
Trained by a team of doctors led by Indranil Khan, these volunteers will arrange covid tests from families whose members have been contracted by a virus.
The State BJP unit will facilitate tests in the Nice and Private Laboratory.
The opposition leader of Suvendu Adhikari, inaugurated a health workshop on Thursday, targeting the powerful Trinamool Congress over what he labeled as “vaccination politics” in Bengal.
“Thousands of BJP supporters and their families, made homeless people in post-poll violence, have been denied JAB.
Our volunteers will reach villages in canning, Gosaba and Jhargram (among others) and compile a list of names for Covid tests in Nice and vaccination on Central institutions, “he said.
Adhikari said he had urged the UNI Health Minister to send a vaccine dose directly to the Central Institution “to reduce dependence on the state government”.
He took the opportunity to “call the cliff” the state government over the procurement of vaccines from the market.
“CM, who is also the Minister of Health, promised the people of Bengal on May 5 that the government would arrange free vaccination.
He took a round of 180 degrees later and said it was impossible for the country to buy vaccines from the manufacturer.
From 2.6 Crore people who have been Receiving their first dose and a few seconds they, only 18 lakh bought by the state, “he said.
The BJP leader accused the state of “bad management” vaccination center.
“The number of vaccination centers in Bengal is the lowest in this country.
We also want to know about fake camps run by officers IAS fraudsters who are close to the minister and leader of Trinamool.
The country does not even have a basic cold chain facility to send vaccines to the center – The center.
As a result, nine doses of lakh were in vain during the early days, “he said.
Adhikari claimed the country did not push the covid test “due to fear”, because the number of high positive cases could delay the bypolls assembly that “Non-MLA CM needs” to proceed in the chair.
“I say with the responsibility that street centers have been asked not to do more than 20 covid tests a day.
Our health volunteers will make them ‘Seva’ mission ‘to set the test needed,” he added.
