Bhubaneswar: In the middle of January Ashirwad Yatra ongoing, a tweet by the State Education Minister Arun Sahoo evoke sharp reactions from saffron party leaders on Friday.
Sahoo tweeted, “forcing someone to bless without serving them and get thanks to someone without asking to work endlessly is a different thing.
People of Odisha know the difference.” While Sahoo did not name anyone, BJP leaders interpret it as excavation Minister of the Union Dharmendra Pradhan and Ashwini Vaishnaw, seeking blessings of Lord Jagannath of the people and for the development of Odisha on Thursday.
Dharmendra has tweeted photos of both ministers and BJP President Samir Mohanty states lying face down in front of Jagannath Temple.
“With God’s blessing, let everyone remain happy and peaceful,” he wrote in his post.
Responding Tweet Sahoo, Secretary of the BJP State Tankadhar Tripathy wrote back, “It seems that Education Minister Arun Sahoo did not know that no one can force anyone to give a blessing.
People can bless those who mix with them, be part of them in grief and their happiness.
one can not get it if he closed in a room.
“The BJP leader said Lekhashree inappropriate Samantsinghar a minister to stoop so low.
“How can one mock anyone seeking blessings of Lord Jagannath?” he asked.
Many BJP leaders also tweeted photos “controversial” from Sahoo spend time with the priest of Jagannath Temple in Puri during his tenure as Minister of Justice.
Sahoo, when contacted, declined to comment on his tweet.
While Dharmendra attend the inauguration and foundation several events associated with the Ministry of Education, Vaishnaw toured weakness Rayagada and Koraput after an overnight train journey from Bhubaneswar to Rayagada.
