BHubaneswar: BJP on Sundays hit the state government to delay the election of urban local agencies (ULB).
It has threatened to go to the Orissa High Court for this problem.
Council Area (NACS), Municipalities, and City Companies have been without selected representatives since September 2018.
The BJP State Unit President Samir Mohanty said, “Government officials managed everything in Ulbs because there were no selected representatives.
Ulb poll has not been done.

It is harmful to democracy.
The State Government and the State Election Commission (SEC) must take steps to immediately conduct Civic polls.
“Acharya Pitambar Party State spokesman said that the SEC had written a letter to the Government Government The section to do Panchayat polls without mentioning anything about ULB polls.
“If the Commission does not move the High Court to hold ULB polls, BJP will go to the High Court within seven days during this problem,” he added.
He said the impeachment movement could be moved in parliament against seconds because it did not hold ULB polls in the state.
“SEC works under the state government, forgetting its own constitutional duties,” he added.
Acharya said Pancrayat and ULB polls need to be done immediately.
“We have seen that the Indian Election Commission holds a general election or election of state assembly on time, but why does the SEC take so much time for ULB polls? We will meet seconds on Monday and discuss this issue,” he added.
The Commissioner of the State Election Aditya Prasad Padhi said he would go through allegations flattened by BJP before commenting on this problem.
