New Delhi: Taking a strict action on the complaints of corruption in the city corporation ordered by BJP, President Adesh Gupta’s party unit expelled three council members from the party for six years, said that some would face music in the future if he was found guilty of financial irregularities.
“In the coming weeks, strict actions will be brought to more members of the City Board and officials,” Gupta said.
Previously on that day, BJP had expelled three council members – Rajni Bablooo Pandey (New Ashok Nagar), Puja Masana (Mukherjee Nagar) and Sanjay Thakur (word-ul-magic) from the party.
In August last year, the AAM AADMI Party (AAP) has accused that Brother-in-law ruled the BJP Council of New Ashok Nagar, Rajni Pandey extorted money from people who built their homes in the area.
Earlier this year, AAP accused Sanjay Thakur was hand-deep with the builder and forcibly asked for money from others.
A Safron party leader said that BJP’s state leadership has received several complaints against Mahan Puja.
Gupta said that despite repeated warnings, this board member failed to improve the way they forced him to take action.
“After complaints were received against them, we got it crossed and verified from our source.
We also warned them to improve their corrupt behavior but they did not follow instructions.” Gupta said.
