Jaipur: BJP on Saturday held a discussion on the strategy for Bypolls in the assembly constituency of Vallabhnagar and Dhariawad in Rajasthan during the core committee meeting chaired by the President of the State Party of Satish Poonia.
Apart from the Bypolls, the party leaders also discussed the planned action for the campaign against the government of the Gehlot Ashok Congress in the state, according to a party spokesman.
Polling will be held in both elections on October 30 and vote counting will take place on November 2.
Bypolls occurred because of the death of BJP MLA from Dhariawad Gautam Lal Meena and Congress Mla Gajendra Shakawat from Vallabhnagar.
In the meeting, the National Secretary General of the Party and State Incharge Arun Singh, Secretary General of the State (Organization) of Chandrashekhar, former Minister of Vasundhara Raje, Alka Gurjar National Secretary, Minister of Union Kailash Choudhary, Rajya Sabha MP Om Prakash Mathur, Deputy Opposition Leader Rajendra Rathod , Lok Sabha MPS Chandra Prakash Joshi (Chittorgarh) and Kanakamal Katara (BANSWARA) present.
