Chennai: K Annamalai, which on Friday took over as President of the BJP Tamil Nadu unit, stated that Kongu Nadu was not a party request.
Annamalai said he had been seeking an explanation from the district unit who passed the resolution that demanded the creation of Nadu Congkers consisting of districts in the western region of Tamil Nadu.
“We will never enjoy emotional politics.
The party never talked about bifurcation (country).
We made our stand very clear that we were not for the creation of Kong’s Nadu,” Annamalai said.
Annamalai took over as president of the party of the party from His Murugan who was recently sworn in as an Union State Minister.
National Secretary General of C T Ravi and senior leaders were also present on the occasion at the Kamalayalam party headquarters in the midst of many fanfare.
Kongu Nadu has thought in Murugan’s profile as “social identification” and nothing more for it, said Annamalai and added that “don’t make a mountain from MoleHills.” Murugan said, “That (Kongu Nadu in his profile) is a clergy error.
There is nothing more for it.” Asked about the resolution delivered by party district units in the western region who demanded the creation of Kongu Nadu, Annamalai said they immediately contacted the party leader who led the meeting and asked him because it passed as such resolution when state leadership did not have nothing.
“We have been looking for detailed explanations from them,” said Annamalai.
In his controversial statement that the party would bring media into his control in the next six months to point to the appointment of Murugan as an information and broadcasting MOS, Annamalai explained that he never mentioned the mainstream media “which has ethics.” “My reference is about digital media, social media and OTT who have no checks and balances in bringing news and how the new rules will arrange them,” he said and added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi greatly respected the fourth pillar of democracy and the party wants mainstream media strong in the state to develop.
In the problem of Mekedatu, the President of the New State said that even though BJP came to power in Karnataka, the Party TN unit would firmly support the rights of the Tamil Nadu people.
The party will demand a share of TN according to the command of the Supreme Court.
When a reporter asked Stand C T Ravi, who was responsible for the TN unit, he said that the BJP government would maintain the welfare of all countries.
It will take the right steps to ensure the “win-win situation” for TN and Karnataka in water disputes between countries, Ravi said from Karnataka.
Criticizing the DMK government to stand in Neet, Annamalai said that the party under his leadership will reach all 13,000 villages and explain that Neet will ensure social justice.
