PUDUCHERRY: Senior Congress leader and former Minister of Puducherry V Narayanamy on Friday said the government Bharathiya Janata Party (BJP) at Uttar Pradesh now reap the fruit of what has been done to destroy the Congress Government, in 2021.
In his virtual press conference here, Narayanasamy Said BJP was allegedly threatening several ministers in his cabinet last year and led to their defection, which caused the fall of the Ministry of Congress in February.
He said the political engine adopted by BJP in Puducherry last year has now boomeranging the party where the legislator and several Yogi government ministers headed in Adlahati in the country said Adieu to the Safron Party.
Narayanasamy said BJP was paid back in its own coins in the state and developments have now caused a jolt for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Interior Minister Amit Shah.
The former Main Minister said several ministers later in his cabinet had resigned from the ministry last year and shifted loyalty to other parties, including BJP.
“What is done in Puducherry by BJP is now booming with it in a BJP-led government above,” he said.
During the congressional rules in February, the legislator of Congress later and also Namassivayivayam, the Minister of PWD, in the Narayanasamy cabinet, had been out of the cabinet and also the Congress to join BJP.
There was a political crisis that peaked in the Congress government in the office stopped from Puducherry without the main minister who faced voting on the floor of the house on February 22 last year.
