Ranchi: District President of the Scheduled BJP (rural) Castle Cells Jeetram Munda was shot dead by criminals in Palu Village in the Regional Office of the Organji on Wednesday night.
A BJP worker, Raj Kishore Sahu, was injured in the incident.
Sources say Munda along with her party workers are at the hotel place after burning Mandar Mla’s headquarters and made the president of Congress, Bandhu Tirkey, when two attackers were transmitted through the motorbike fired it.
Munda rushed to Medanta hospital near where she died of her injury.
Sahu who was injured was undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
Police, including Rural SP Naushad nature, reached the place and checked closed circuit television recordings.
Ranchi SSP Surindra Jha said, “Prima Facies seems to be a personal competition can be the reason behind the murder.
We have launched the operation to arrest the perpetrators.” Some BJP leaders, including the Union Minister of Arjun Munda, former Minister of Raghubar and MP Ranchi Sanjay Seth had been Conducting the incident.
